The main bioactive component extracted from the garlic is Allicin, a compound of organic sulphur (thiosulfonate) with a strong antioxidant effect and other good properties for plants.
Allicin works as the first mechanism of defence against insects and fungi. It works preventively against various pathogenic fungi such as mould, mildew, nematodes, snails, beetles and insects such as spider mites, thrips, aphids, fungus gnats, whitefly and more.

BioGreen Garlic is used as a natural pest and fungal control for plants. It can be applied as a foliar spray or added to nutrient solutions. For foliar application, mix 50ml of BioGreen Garlic per liter of water and spray infected plants thoroughly, covering both top and bottom of leaves. Repeat every 2-3 days until the issue is resolved. For prevention, add 1ml per liter of water to nutrient solutions from the beginning of the vegetative phase until the end of flowering. For heavier infestations, use 4ml per liter
